As you know, we will unfortunately not be able to have Mass and procession of candles on the Feast of the Purification at St. Anthony's.
However, I am sure that you will be delighted to hear that Father O'Shea will celebrate the Procession of Candles followed by Solemn High Mass at SS Peter & Paul and Philomena, New Brighton, Thursday next week, February 2nd at 6:00 pm.

Here is a list of Masses planned in the Liverpool Archdiocese for the next four months. Please attend those in your area if you possibly can.
Can I ask you again if you would like me to pursue the possibility of celebrating the Easter Triduum according to the 1962 Missal at St. Anthony’s next year? I would need to be sure that you would give it your support before trying to arrange it with Father Dunne. St. Anthony’s Sunday Mass is the ‘official’ LMS Mass in the archdiocese, and our fervour for the old rite is judged to some extent by the size of the congregation there: so please come to it if you can, and do please let me know by telephone or e-mail if you would attend the Holy Week ceremonies next year, if we can arrange it.
May I also remind you that if you have e-mail facilities, I can send you these information letters more often and quicker than by post, so please email me if you would like to be on the e-mail list. My address is above.
