URGENTLY WANTED: part time secretary for FSSP ENGLAND:
• Based at: St John Fisher House, 17, Eastern Avenue, Reading RG1 5RU
• Schedule: 3 to 4 hours per week, on a week day morning or afternoon. Number of hours is likely to increase in the future.
• Tasks: book keeping, day to day administration (utility bills, car insurances etc), helping with having Dowry printed and posted; plus other mailings; also Confraternity of St Peter database and correspondence; other matters such as World Youth Day; coordinating our four yearly retreats; etc.
• Qualifications: candidates must have secretarial experience, preferably in parish or charity setting, and must master group emailing and Internet, group printing, Excel or equivalent book keeping software and Word. Optional skills welcome: knowledge in website programming and in lay out designing for our magazine.
• Other qualities: discretion, regularity, long term commitment.
• Salary: From £7 per hour according to diocesan rate. More, depending on qualifications.

• More: FSSP ENGLAND is the registered charity for the Priestly Fraternity of St Peter (FSSP) in England & Wales. The FSSP is the largest Roman Catholic priestly community with permission from the Holy See to use constantly the Extraordinary Form of the Roman liturgy. Founded in 1988 by 17 priests and 1 deacon, the FSSP now numbers 370 priests and seminarians with average age 37. The FSSP is of pontifical right and as such depends directly on the Holy See. So far 110 diocesan bishops on four continents have granted permission to the FSSP to serve in their dioceses (with full respect of its definitively approved Constitutions). In Great Britain, the FSSP is based in Edinburgh and in Reading, where Bishop Crispian Hollis has allowed our canonical establishment.
